Mallory G. Wynne is a litigator with a practice primarily focused on resolving disputes arising out of maritime personal injury, vessel collisions/allisions, contractual and indemnity dispute, marine construction, marine insurance, toxic tort and occupational disease, and all aspects of oil and gas operations worldwide. This experience includes trial practice in federal, state courts, and arbitration, in addition to briefing of appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Wynne’s current areas of practice include catastrophic personal injury, products liability, toxic tort, and property damage, in addition to general tort defense in a commercial setting.
Representative clients include offshore drilling contractors, offshore service vessel owners, shipowners, oilfield service companies, domestic and international construction companies, shipyards and rig repair facilities, subcontractors, equipment suppliers, engineers, designers, as well as their insurers.
She also has broad experience in emergency investigation and incident response involving serious injuries or fatalities and/or significant property damage, including interviewing key witnesses and personnel, gathering evidence and interacting with insurance adjusters and governmental agencies.
Ms. Wynne’s experience also includes providing advices in the drafting, negotiating and litigating of agreements relating to offshore services and business operations, advising clients on a wide array of contract issues including construction contracts, repair contracts, master service agreements, operating agreements, confidentiality agreements and choice of law and dispute resolution clauses.
In addition, Ms. Wynne’s experience includes a wide range of commercial matters, including insurance defense and coverage, complex construction disputes, and government contract claims.
